Gilbert Sosa

Gilbert Sosa is a filmmaker and photographer. He attended Episcopal High School in Houston, Texas where he trained in an advanced filmmaking class for two years. One of his projects from that class, "Endeavor" by DoubleDve, was presented as an Official Selection at the 2016 SXSW Film Festival and as an Official Selection at the 2016 Worldfest Houston International Film Festival where it won a Bronze REMI for Best Student Film and Videos. At SXSW Gilbert met with prestigious filmmakers like J.J. Abrams and Andrew Jarecki, along with hip hop legends Queen Latifah & Missy Elliot, and First Lady Michelle Obama. Gilbert is also an experienced photographer shooting for modeling, acting and music professionals. His work includes fashion, catalog and promotional work for music and films. He has established clients in Los Angeles, Austin and Houston and continues to study filmmaking and photography, eager to expand and explore into new artistic expressions.
