Luis Quijano is a Mexican filmmaker currently based in Los Angeles. Since 2015, he has produced, written and directed narrative films and commercials both in Mexico and in the United States. His work explore fear, belief and social norms in culturally driven stories led by Latin-American characters. In addition, he is an alumni of the Tomorrow's Filmmakers Today Fellowship presented by HBO & the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, a recipient of the NALIP emerging content creator scholarship and he screened his latest released short film "Caminante, Caminante: La Leyenda del Huay Chivo" at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences for the "Hispanic & Latinx Cinema" event presented by New Filmmakers Los Angeles, among other film festivals around the globe. He is in pre-production for his next directorial effort, the short film "Avem" and in post production of "Cullinan", a feature film which he co-produced and co-starred with Andrii Lantukh. Also, he is in development of the feature films, "Caminante, Caminante" based on his short film, and the body horror film "Los Bichos Dentro".
