Born in Hamilton, Ohio, Jesse Lee Leonard grew up in Greenville. He was adopted at 7 year of age along with his older sister. While he struggled with learning how to read, Jesse was a highly intelligent boy. At 17, Jesse grew tired of school and rushed to graduate that year with a 3.95 G.P.A. He desired to join the military, however his parents wanted him to go to college. Jesse studied at a college in Purcellville, VA, but he had no desire to be there. Jesse studied government there and was a relief worker at the Pentagon after 9-11. He was expelled from college at Christmas time in 2001. Having left the pursuit of higher education, Jesse was adrift and eventually washed up in State College. At age 19, Jesse joined the United States Army as a Forward Observer. He went to basic training in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. From there, Jesse attended Airborne Training at Fort Benning, Georgia, before moving onto Ranger Indoctrination. Unfortunately, during the last jump in Airborne School, Jesse cracked his right knee, though he continued to train with the injury. During the Ranger program, it became inflamed and he was forced to drop for the program. Jesse served in Camp Greaves in South Korea for a year, before deploying to Fallujah and Ramadi area in Iraq 2004-2005. Stationed at Fort Carson Colorado with B Co 2-12 INF., Jesse was deployed again to Baghdad, in 2006- Christmas Eve 2007. Earning a purple heart, Jesse was retired from active military duty in February 2010. Jesse then pursued higher education again, gaining an Associates of Arts in General Education at Edison Community College and a Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science at Miami University, graduating in 2014. At Miami University, he met Robert Horn, who had a life-altering influence on his life, giving Jesse the title role of the slasher in his horror film. After graduation from Miami University, Jesse drove freight out of Iowa and meat out of Kansas, until he realized that driving truck was not for him. Upon leaving the truck driving world, Jesse moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting at Robert Horn's recommendation and has been out here ever since.
