Catalina Preston

Catalina Preston is a Latin American actress, model, and writer based in New York City. Her performances include William Inge's 'Bus Stop' (Cherie), William Mastrosimone's 'Extremities' (Marjorie), Amy Herzog's 'Belleville' (Abby), Laura Eason's 'Sex with Strangers' (Olivia), Leonard Melfi's 'Birdbath' (Velma), Tony Kushner's 'Angels in America' (Harper), Robert Patrick's Kennedy's 'Children' (Carla), among other theater and film productions. Catalina did her professional studies in The Netherlands, where she received two Bachelors Degrees in International Business, as well as International Communication from Hanze University of Groningen. Wanting to pursue a creative career in business, she did her MFA in Art Direction in Hamburg, Germany. She moved to New York in 2011, where she excelled as an Art Director in multiple industries. As an artist, she decided to pursue acting and enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York City, where she became passionate about method acting. Catalina has a great passion for travel. She's a motorcycle and aviation enthusiast and takes every chance she has to go to new places. She loves the outdoors, learning new languages, and discovering new art forms. She believes the best kind of art is the one that stays true to itself, and strives to keep her acting, music, and art as honest as possible.
