Sixmarling Then

Sixmarling Then, is a film Director, 1st AD, Script Supervisor, Production Coordinator and Dancer born and raised in Dominican Republic. She is majoring in Social Communications with a minor in Audiovisual Productions and has completed intensive internship at the biggest film production company of Dominican Republic Panamericana. She has worked on various audiovisuals for international companies and organizations as well as script supervisor of the FineArts International Film festival's oficial selection short film: Habitación Circular. Her short film Sangre Salá (2018) achieved Best of Fest in the Big Shoulder DePaul Film Festival, as well as winning in other film festivals and being selected by the Latino Filmmaker Network for the Hispanic Heritage month for FaceBook. Then also was the 1st assistant director of Un Cuento Para Rodolfo (2016) selected for the Film Market of the Clermont-Ferrand festival du Court Métrage and Dominican Film Fest of New York City. Her short Al Revés (2017) was one of the Public Favorite at La Semana Mas Corta festival 2017. Her most recent works as a producer include Todo te di (2019) and 1st assistant director for Canción de Navidad by Latin Grammy Nominee Manny Cruz.
