Patrick is a filmmaker, journalist, author, and host who tells stories that inspire and provoke through a genre film lens. After having written and/or directed projects for the likes of Tony Scott, ID Agency, and filmmakers behind such film as "Jiro Dreams of Sushi", "Hancock," "Rock of Ages," he struck out on an indie film path. Over the past three years, his narrative and documentary films have screened at over 100+ film festivals worldwide, winning numerous awards, and are now streamed on Amazon Prime, Tubi, Vimeo on Demand and others. His latest film, 'Bundini,' is the first-ever documentary on Bundini Brown, Muhammad Ali's longtime trainer and Svengali, which world premiered on Ring Magazine in July 2020. He is filming his first feature, "Sincerely, Los Angeles," a documentary on the people and stories behind the Kobe Bryant murals. He has a Masters in Film/TV Screenwriting from Cal State Northridge and a BA in Journalism from San Diego State. As a freelance journalist, he has been published in over 75 digital and print publications (Los Angeles Magazine, XXL, E! Online, Mel Magazine). Patrick is a proud hapa (Vietnamese-Italian-Irish), who resides in Los Angeles (five min from his beloved Dodger Stadium) with his muse (Haewan) real-life "little monster" (Bronson), and border collie/fur baby Domino.
