Shan Moreno is an American actress born of an African-American mother and a Puerto Rican father on October 25th, 1993 in Miami, Florida. She and her three brothers were always involved in numerous activities, but her main interests have always been in sports and the performing arts. At an early age, she performed in dance recitals, school plays, various talent shows, and on the courts and fields as an athlete to many recreational sports. Her curiosity led her to broadcast media for which she studied and obtained a bachelor's degree at Georgia State University. While attending university, Shan worked as a background actress for several films and television shows filming in the metro-Atlanta area. It wasn't until February 2016 that she would be promoted from and extra to a principle role on the set of the highly anticipated Tupac biopic: All Eyez on Me. Her role, the Machine-Gun Honey, was the steppingstone she needed for a career as a professional actress. Since then, Shan has appeared in a number of films and television shows. Her ability to relate and inspire through captivating performances has also been recognized in the Indiana Circle City Film Festival, the American Black Film Festival, and Atlanta's Screening Room Showcase (among many more). Shan Moreno now resides in Los Angeles, California where she is focused on polishing her craft and building a promising future towards the Hollywood film industry.
