Laura Valín Peñalba

Laura Valin-Peñalba is a writer and the 2020-2021 recipient of the Humanitas Prize and its Carol Mendelsohn Drama Fellowship. She has an MFA in screenwriting and has studied at both Loyola Marymount University and the University of California Los Angeles. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and fluent in French.
