Marcel Hugh Kaczynski

Marcel Kaczynski was born on 9 December 1993, in Warsaw Poland. He grew up in a middle class family, and attended a private music school where he studied piano. He began acting in youth theatre productions while he was still at school. After his high school, he took acting classes in Acting School in Warsaw. At the same time Marcel completed his BA at the University of Warsaw, graduating in political science. Afterwards, at 22 years old, he moved to Glasgow Scotland to pursuit his dream and study Acting & Performance at West College Scotland in nearby Paisley. He is intrigued by Stanislavski's acting technique and Lee Strassberg's method. His TV debut was in 2015. He was quickly picked up for a variety of major and minor roles on Polish TV shows and adverts. He was a finalist in a high profile competition for young Polish actors organized by the TV show "Na wspolnej" in partnership with the "TVN" TV channel. At 23 Marcel moved on again, this time to Vancouver, Canada, where he is now working in the film industry both as an actor and in the Art Department. Some recent projects include: Freaky Friday, Beyond, and Murderers.
