Tessa Tamura

After completing her training (RAD, Al Gilbert and ADAPT) in her hometown of Lethbridge Alberta, Tessa Tamura moved to Vancouver to pursue a professional dance career. Starting out in training companies such as The Source and KTL, she had the opportunity to continue expanding her knowledge of the art under some of the city's most respected and well known teachers and choreographers. Since 2014, she has been given the opportunity to teach a weekly contemporary drop-in class at Harbour Dance Centre and is currently acting as Assistant Director to Joanne Pesusich and The Source Dance Company. Tessa had an early start in her commercial career and since then has been fortunate enough to work on some amazing projects. Some of her credits as dancer, assistant choreographer and dance double include "Christmas Chronicles 2", NBC's "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist", CW's "Riverdale" and "Charmed" and the Disney trilogy "The Descendants".
