Akshun Abhimanyu

Akshun Abhimanyu was born in New Delhi, India. His mother is a doctor and his father is a scientist. He grew up surrounded with theatrical actors and dancers by attending workshops at the National School Of Drama, while focusing on science at the mainstream in high school. After completing his International Baccalaureate, he moved to Germany to pursue his bachelors degree in Biotechnology. His passion for acting and dancing continued throughout his college at Jacobs University, Germany. His first major production "I, Van Gogh, (2012)" won much appraisal. He worked simultaneously with the Bremen theater and renown musical theater artists in Hamburg, Germany to do theatrical shows. After completion of his education, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting for film & dance choreography. He attended the New York Film Academy in Burbank California and trained for dancing at the Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles. His first role as "Luis, Deceased (2016)" of a dirty cop was very well noticed and was selected for the "International Short Film Festival, (2016)". He played the role of "Riann, in Wonders Of Love, (2016)", the movie was awarded best drama short at the (LAIFFA) "Los Angeles International Film Festival, (2016)". He is also known for the role of "Man, in 4th Person, (2016)" as the character faces challenges with sexuality, society and norms. The movie was selected for " Mumbai Short Film Festival, (2017)", and "Ukraine Equality Film Festival, (2017)". All the movies were premiered at the Warner Brothers Studio and are being recognized internationally.
