Active in cultural areas including stage, music, literature and art, Leide Jacob is presently dedicating her time to writing and audiovisual production. While taking care of her mother who has had amyotrophic lateral sclerosis now for ten years and is only able to move her eyeballs, Leide produced the three books she wrote as well as registering the manner in which the poems were transcribed due to her illness. "My Poetry", her first film, was screened in New York at the New York City Indie Film Festival in May 2017 and later won the Best Documentary Director Award at the XVII International Festival of Red Cross and Health Films in Varna, Bulgaria. In 2018, she finished her second documentary Pay 4 Nevermore.
