Based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Mahde Hasan completed post-graduation on Anthropology. He makes short films independently and dependently. His short, "Photographs of a School Teacher", was an official selection at "IndieCork Film Festival, Ireland, 2013". Another film "I Am Time" screened at 69th Festival del film Locarno, 2016. He accomplished a documentary, "The Sky is not Always Blue", with the support of Goethe Institut, Dhaka in the year 2013.
