Matthew James Kwiatkowski was born in Petoskey MI September 1st 1978 and raised in Cheboygan. Couple years out of high school, he took a drama course at the NCMC college in Petoskey. There he met his future w/screenwriter/directors Josiah Johnson and Tim Whitmore. Matt collaborated with Whitmore on the black/white fantasy short silent film, Flight of Fancy (2001) Matt got involved with Johnson's campy "B" horror film, The Woodland's Creature (2001) Matt collaborated with Johnson on the dark mob/gangster film Pawn of Deception (2002) Johnson and Kwiatkowski worked side by side on the sci-fi comedy hit, Invasion (2004) Matt met/worked with screenwriter/director, John Stump on the short slash/horror film Red Neck Rage BOTH released in 2004. In 2006, Matt had formed his own production company, Defective Dream Entertainment. Released his writing/directing cop drama debut, Intentional (2007) He worked for two consecutive years on the mob/gangster film, Withdrawal (2009) The same year Matt gave Red Neck Rage a re-boot (2009) Kwiatkowski co-wrote/produced/directed the backwards crime drama, Innocent? (2016) Matt played Hollywood ICON actor, Bill Moseley's body double for the clown horror film, Crepitus (2018) Kwiatkowski wrote/produced/directed the slapstick action comedy, It's a Cop Thing (2020) Matt is currently filming It's a Cop Thing 2: The Last Laugh due out 2023.
