Sean Rad is an internet innovator and entrepreneur. He founded Tinder in 2012 and served as CEO until 2016. He was Chairman of the company through 2017. Tinder is the largest social dating platform in the world and has annual revenue estimated at $1.4 billion. Rad began his internet enterprises in 2004, at 18 years old, when he founded Orgoo, his first startup, designed to streamline all digital forms of communication - email, instant messaging, video chat, and SMS - on a single web-based platform. Then in 2009, Rad founded Adly, the original social media advertising and analytics platform that connected more than 2,500 brands and 5,000 celebrity influencers. Rad was born in 1986. His Iranian-Jewish parents immigrated to the United States in the 1970s. Rad has an honoree diploma from the University of Southern California which he was awarded in May 2016. He also delivered the USC Marshall School of Business undergraduate commencement speech that year. He serves on the Board of Trustees at the Milken Community School, from which he graduated.
