Jacob Langsner is a Director, Producer, Writer, and Actor from Las Vegas, Nevada. Langsner is a member of the Stanford Law School Class of 2024. He is focusing on entertainment and media law, as well as intellectual property and business law. Langsner continues to write, direct, and produce short films while at Stanford Law. To date, Jacob Langsner has directed and produced over twenty short films, ranging from experimental to documentary and dramatic narrative. Langsner's films have received critical acclaim from multiple festivals and competitions. His documentary "Going Home" premiered at the Sonoma International Film Festival, where it was selected to open the festival. His experimental film "Touched" was exhibited at Stanford University's Cantor Arts Center. His dramatic short "Life or Death Debates" premiered at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood as an official selection of the Golden State Film Festival. Langsner completed his undergraduate degree at Stanford University, where he majored in political science and minored in Art History. Langsner has also studied at USC's School of Cinematic Arts and the NYU Tisch School of the Arts Abroad (Paris, France). Langsner also participated in the Cherubs National High School Institute for Film and Video at Northwestern University and the Iowa Young Writers' Studio at the University of Iowa.
