Margot Bankoff was a Professor of Philosophy at City College in New York when she married Mort Kamen on April 8, 1969. Prior to that, Ms. Bankoff was appointed as Instructor of Philosophy at Adelphi University (then known as Adelphi Suffolk College) in Garden City, Long Island on August 20, 1964. Ms. Bankoff previously taught philosophy at Columbia University in New York. Ms. Bankoff received her Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA. A Phi Beta Kappa member, Ms. Bankoff was a recipient of NYU and Columbia Scholarships and a Fullbright Scholarship.
