Richard Mason

Born in 1985 in Miami, Florida, Richard Mason started out as a competitor on the television competition show The X Factor in 2011. Singer and actor Richard Mason was born in Miami, Florida. Mason is the youngest child of two. Growing up, Mason won several talent contests and performed in famous venues, including the American Airlines Arena home of the Miami Heat. He started his show business career on The X Factor (2011) where he competed on the television competition show in a vocal group named Illusion Confusion. The group went on to the Top 8 finals in their respected Group category mentored by Paula Abdul. Shortly after appearing on The X Factor (2011), Mason and another member of the group decided to continue a path in the music industry by creating a new music group named Night Runners. Night Runners released a self-titled EP in 2015 and a music video for their song 'Single'. In 2016 the group disbanded to pursue other ventures.
