Clint Alphin is an actor, songwriter, musician, producer, and screenwriter living in Nashville, TN. Originally from Dunn, NC, he has lived and worked in Nashville since 2003. He began training at Nashville Acting Studio in 2015. He performs and studies improv at Third Coast Comedy Club in Nashville. He has produced several music videos and short films, including the 2019 Best Musical for the Nashville 48 Hour Film Project, "Out To California." He won the Telluride Troubadour songwriter contest at the 44th Telluride Bluegrass Festival. In addition to being a classically trained tenor vocalist, he plays guitar, piano, banjo, mandolin, and a few other instruments. He writes and performs folk, Americana, and pop music, as well as gospel and worship music, and is a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS.) Since his younger sister is deaf, he learned and has spoken Sign Language since he was 6 years old. He has been a substitute teacher and music teacher at public and private schools, and has degrees from the University of North Carolina, Appalachian State University, Lipscomb University, as well as a Certificate in Religious Studies and Education from Harvard Extension School. He is a snow skier and water skier, as well as an Eagle Scout.
