Thomas was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. His interest in film began in his early teens, having a fascination for old movies. This led to exploring world cinema, and eventually sparked an interest in filmmaking at 17. Since then, he has graduated from Film Studies at Ulster University and film production at Montana State University. Setting up a production company in 2017, he has since helped direct, produce, shoot and edit numerous projects.
