Kenneth Hondl

Kenneth Frank Ulligaq (Little Blanket) Hondl was born in 1996 to Kerry and Sundi Hondl and is the youngest to his sister Jenna. Kenneth grew up in Wasilla, Alaska and would go to Bethel, Alaska every summer. After watching Lord of the Rings at a young age, he grew an interest in classic monster movies like "Godzilla", "King Kong", or anything by Ray Harryhausen. He wasn't allowed to watch R-Rated horror movies so he would write short stories and comic books of how he thought movies like "Child's Play", "Scream", or "A Nightmare on Elm Street" would play out. It would become very clear to him that he wanted to make movies, so he got a camera and made short action comedies with his friends from Catholic School. He would also use video games like "Garry's Mod" to make movies as well. He wrote his first feature length script at 16 and would continue to post short scripts to screenwriting forums on the internet until he moved to Missoula, Montana with intention of making short films with his best friends Brandon Murak and Rainy Hastings. Without going to film school and funding them with their jobs, they made several short films like "Denny's Connection", "Plasma Television", and "Waterjogging", learning valuable skills along the way.
