Nikki Bennett

Born in Taree New South Wales in 1965, attended Taree High School, then New South Wales University where she studied Arts, majoring in English / History. Despite her critically acclaimed portrayal of the musically challenged Gold Coast club singer, Nikki Raye, in 'Shirley Barrett's brilliant Walk the Talk (2000), she is actually one of Australia's most talented singers and continues to perform worldwide in this capacity. In 2008 she appeared as Emily Rogan in 19 episodes of the BBC Soap Drama "Out Of The Blue ". Hailed as "one of Australia"s most loved cabaret Divas", in 2012 she wrote Invincible - The Helen Reddy Story ,about the life of Iconic Australian entertainer Helen Reddy and she still performs this today. In 2018, Nikki appeared as a judge on Australian TV on the Endemol Shine production All Together Now. She is still listed on the Australian Showcast website.
