Charlie is an award-winning film-maker and actor, working professionally in the industry originally as a well-known child actor, before making his way behind the camera primarily as a director and editor. Charlie is developing his own projects for film, TV and radio as producer-director and screenwriter as well as producing and directing for broadcast and non-broadcast producers. He has developed his storytelling craft over a multitude of mediums - from the gigantic New Zealand Pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai Expo, to heartwarming and moving film festival documentaries, comedic and dramatic scripted content, corporate and commercial projects of every shape and form, and even puppet wielding children's television productions. Charlie's work in television includes a wide variety of projects, from weekly satirical animations for TV3's current affairs show The Nation, to producing visual effects for the television drama series The Killian Curse, and developing television shows with both state broadcasters Television New Zealand and Maori Television. Working for Natural History New Zealand, Charlie has developed an entire children's television channel, ZooMoo TV, which broadcasts to an international audience of millions.
