Yve Burbach first came into contact with the acting world at the age of 12 when she appeared in several school plays. She was originally trained to become a management assistant in advertising before she decided to go to college to study communication studies. After this she went on to take acting lessons with Marietta Bürger in Cologne. During this time she also took singing and dance classes. In 1999 she garnered increasing attention when she appeared in several episodes of the TV series Mallorca - Suche nach dem Paradies. Her most well-known and most popular role with the audience was the french Cécile de Maron. In the famous TV series Verbotene Liebe from 2001 until 2006 Along with the rest of the cast she received a Golden Rose award in Luzern. Yve Burbach has accepted roles in nearly all genres for feature films, TV movies and TV series. She has worked with directors Jörg Grünler, Josh Broecker, Marcus Ulbricht, and Bijan Benjamin. In the TV movie Tod in Istanbul, which was directed by Matti Geschonneck Yve Burbach was cast opposite Jürgen Vogel and Heino Ferch. For the play Die Wahrheit, Yve Burbach appeared on the stage of Cologne's Theater Am Dom in May 2013. Under the direction of René Heinersdorff she also made a highly acclaimed appearance in the play called Sei lieb zu meiner Frau at the Contra Kreis Theater in Bonn in the season 2013 / 2013.
