Mark Buntzman was born on July 31, 1949 in Hollywood, California. He grew up primarily in New York. Mark was an MIT graduate with a degree in physics. Moreover, Buntzman was a martial arts teacher and the producer of the Great Caribbean Comet Watch Cruise prior to becoming involved with the film business in the mid-1970's. He made his debut as both the star and producer of the obscure low-budget horror feature "Suicide Cult." Mark then co-produced the superbly gritty urban vigilante action hit "The Exterminator." Buntzman co-wrote, co-produced, and directed the inferior sequel "Exterminator 2." In addition, Mark also worked with Mario Van Peebles on several pictures: He not only co-produced both "Love Kills" and "Standing Knockdown," but also acted in "Posse," "Panther," and "Love Kills." Buntzman died at age 68 on June 8, 2018.
