In 2016, he shot his first film "1898: los últimos de Filipinas", obtaining nine Goya nominations, including Best New Director. Known for "El padre de Caín" (2016), "Los nuestros" (2015), "Niños robados"(2013), "Hermanos"(2014), "Alakrana"(2010) and "Motivos Personales"(2005).
