Jonathan Southard

Jonathan Southard grew up as a child actor in New York City, attended the Dwight School in Manhattan, where he fondly remembers a more "Scorsese-Like NYC" , and won honors both academically and theatrically at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. After over 20 years as an actor, Jonathan moved into film production in 1987, becoming a full-time First Assistant Director in 1994. To date, he has delivered over 90 feature films and hundreds of commercials, promos and other short-form products. Moving into the Director's chair, Jonathan will be helming High Expectations, a feature drama set in the world of championship soccer in the fall of 2020. He just celebrated his 10th anniversary with Prime Time Emmy winner Wendy Southard (Hairstyling FEUD: Bette and Joan), living happily in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles.
