Susan Traylor has appeared in over fifty movies including Noah Baumbach's Greenberg, Kate and Laura Muleavy's Woodshock, Micheal Mann's Heat, Gus Van Sant's To Die For, Robert Redford's A River Runs Through It, Anjelica Huston's Bastard Out Of Carolina, Micheal Tolkien's The New Age, Rory Kelly's Sleep With Me, John Putch's Valerie Flake for which she was nominated for a Film Independent Spirit Award for Best Actress and Steve Balderson's Casserole Club (Domiani Visionfest Best Actress award). Recently she starred in Emma Tillman's The Wheel, Julie Philip's Anonymous and Alex Eaton's Love For Fools and wrote Makin' Love, a six part series. Traylor co-wrote and starred in Steve Balderson's El Ganzo (Best Feature, Salento International Film Festival) and wrote, co-produced and starred in Jefery Levy's Me and co-produced The Key for Levy. Traylor wrote, directed and starred in Welcome To California which was recognized at the East Hampton Film Festival with the Spalding Gray Award for New Voices In Cinema. Traylor was born in New York, raised in Malibu California, studied acting with her parents, the legendary acting teachers Peggy Feury and William Traylor and went to film school at NYU.
