Anthony Adams is a writer, producer and director with credits in film, television and theatre. For television, he has written over 30 episodes for such diverse series as Duck Tales for Disney Animation, Fragglerock for Marvel Entertainment and She Wolf of London for Universal Television. He also wrote and produced the ABC movie, Badge of Betrayal, starring Harry Hamlin and the NBC movie, Murder or Memory, starring Emmy-winner, Leigh Taylor Young. With his partner, Christina Adams, he's written, produced and developed film and television projects for a number of studios and production companies including Disney, Warner Bros., Universal, ABC, CBS, NBC, TBS and OWN. In addition to his work in film and television, Anthony is an accomplished playwright and composer. He has directed many of his original plays and musicals in London and San Diego including The Adventures of Olig and Obster, A Song For Gar, An Eye In Each Head, The Living Cell and The Great Relativity Bomb Plot. He also composed music for the national touring production of The Grapes Of Wrath, starring Ed Harris and toured as a performer with the Harry Partch Ensemble. Anthony's feature film directing debut, Lost Lake, which he wrote with Christina Adams, was released on DVD by Warner Brothers Home Video, after a limited theatrical release. He also wrote the original songs in the film. Anthony wrote and directed Primal Twang: The Legacy of the Guitar, a theatrical journey through the colorful and surprisingly controversial 3500-year history of the guitar, featuring electrifying live performances by flatpicking legend, Dan Crary, and an all-star ensemble of guitar greats, including Grammy-winners, Eric Johnson, Albert Lee, Andrew York, Mason Williams and Doc Watson. The concert documentary produced by Adams Entertainment aired nationally on PBS and won Best Documentary Feature at the Rome International Film Festival. After the success of Primal Twang, Anthony wrote and directed Love-In: A Musical Celebration, a live stage production featuring the music of the 1960's. The show, produced by Adams Entertainment was hosted by Tony Award-winning Broadway star, Ben Vereen. The concert documentary was released nationally on PBS. Anthony is co-writing the novel, Sins of The Father, with Christina Adams, based on their original screenplay. He is also composing the music and co-writing the libretto for Sideways the Musical with Rex Pickett, author of the classic novel, Sideways, which the Oscar-winning film was based on.
