Andreev graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics at the Sofia University, then from the National Academy of Theatrical and Film Art in Sofia as film and TV director. He worked at the Boyana Film Studios and Studios Vreme. Since 1992 he has been an independent producer, member of producing company BOUROUGH FILM Ltd. Andreev is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Film Makers, member of Board of the Association of Film Producers, member of Bulgarian Association of Filmdirectors.
