Biography

She began her artistic career as a dancer and actress, later moving on to television, where she worked for ten years while working as a storyteller. Realizing that her stories could be made into films, she decided to study film at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. After finishing her studies, she returned to Great Britain and developed her career writing scripts for short films for television, which gradually turned into her personal production. Her short film "Wasp" (2005) won the Oscar for Best Short Film and since then she went on to direct feature films, three of them winners of the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, among other awards.
