She switched from modeling to acting after being offered a part in the film 'Quadrophenia'. She is to married actor Lee Chapman and has two sons Joseph born 1990 and Max born 1993. Her sister is former 'Hot Gossip' dancer Debbie Ash. They appeared together as sisters in Rosie Dixon - Night Nurse.
