Lin Que Ayoung is an award-winning Black queer writer/director/producer. Upon obtaining an MFA from NYU's Tisch Graduate Film program, Lin Que's thesis film, Cracked, which won The Spike Lee Production Grant, won the 2nd Prize King Wasserman Award for Best Graduate Film at NYU's 2021 First Run Film Festival. There, it also won Craft Awards for Acting and Cinematography. Cracked had its World Premiere at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival and was selected to compete at the Chicago International Film Festival, LA Shorts, HollyShorts, and more. Cracked was also selected to be one of the five American Black Film Festival HBO Short Film Competition Finalists. Thus, garnering a license agreement with HBO Max. Amongst her achievements with Cracked, Lin Que was chosen to be a fellow of the 2022 Gotham Marcie Bloom Fellowship Program and, most recently, was selected to be a 2023 Sundance Screenwriters Lab Fellow as a co-writer for the feature film, Ricky.
