Raymond Bagatsing, was born the Philippines. He is of Filipino, Indian/Persian, Chinese and Spanish descent. When he was 11 years old he moved to Melbourne, Australia to live with his Mother. At 16 during a vacation in Manila, Raymond landed a leading role in a teenage martial arts film. After finishing High School, he moved back to Manila, to pursue an acting career working mostly on Action Films in the 1990's. Branching out to more Dramatic Roles in the late 90's he received Best Actor at the Asian Television Awards in Singapore 2001 for " Maale Ala Mo kaya" ( Would you remember The Wedding Ring ). Followed by many more awards and nominations. He has extensive Martial Arts experience in Wing Chun Kung Fu, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Ju -Jitsu , Capoera, and Aikido. When Raymond is in Manila, he also teaches acting and Mix Martial Arts when he is not busy filming. Giving him a reputation as one of Manila's most sought after talents and mentor. He considers himself fortunate to have been cast co-staring with acclaimed French actress, Isabelle Huppert in the Cannes wining , Brillante Mendoza's film "Captive", in 2012, and in 2016 , he was cast in "1898 Los Ultimos Filipinos", a Spanish production co-Staring with Luis Tosar, directed by Salvador Calvo. He relocated to Los Angles in 2006 where he splits his time working between The US, The Philippines, Europe and the UK. When Raymond is not acting he spends his time as a lover of life , practicing Yoga and Meditation.
