Erik Barnouw was born on June 23, 1908 in The Hague, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands. He was a writer and producer, known for Hiroshima Nagasaki August, 1945 (1946), The United States Steel Hour (1953) and Columbia University Seminar (1952). He was married to Betty Barnouw. He died on July 19, 2001 in Fair Haven, Vermont, USA.
