Arkansas native Roxanne Beck is an award-winning screenwriter, singer and internationally known voice actor ("Pokemon," "Doug"). She holds an MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA, where she wrote the script for the short film "Miss Famous," starring Kristen Wiig and executive produced by James Franco. Her honors at UCLA included a Humanitas Drama Fellowship nomination and the Oliver's Prize for her animation feature "Caterpillarland"; the children's book version of "Caterpillarland" was published in 2015. Beck also works as a script doctor and has done uncredited rewrites for major studios. She is a member of the WGAW's Committee of Women Writers and volunteers as a tutor for 826LA.
