Basia Baumann

Basia Baumann was born in Munich, but grew up in France. At present she lives in Munich again and studies video art at "Akademie Der bildenden Kuenste". She used to work for 14 years as AD and worked, amongst others, with Volker Schlöndorff, Caroline Link, Jean Jacques Anneau and Brian Singer. Her first work as director was during a film marathon called "Berlin36" in 2005: The short film "The revenge of Mr. Wong" was nominated on the shortlist as one of the 12 best of 122 registered films from out of all Germany.
