Deidre Daniels

Deidre Daniels appeared in a very famous 1973 Chevrolet advertising campaign which re-created a stunt from an earlier 1964 campaign. For the 1964 ad a new Chevrolet was carried by helicopter to the top of 2,000 foot high Castle Rock in Moab Utah along with a model who was shown waving to the camera. In 1972 Chevrolet re-created the ad, along with a piece on how it was done, using a new 1973 Chevrolet Impala. The ad appeared only in a two-page spread in the December 29, 1972 issue of LIFE magazine. Deidre Daniels is shown waving to the camera from the top of Castle Rock as well as being helped into the helicopter.
