Carol Damgen was born in Amarillo, Texas, the daughter of an American military father and British mother. She is a classically trained, award-winning actress, produced playwright, costume designer, producer and director with an MFA in Writing for the Performing Arts from the University of California, Riverside and a graduate from UCLA's Theatre, Film and Television Professional Program. Her stage credits range from classics- Julius Caesar, Romeo and Juliet and A Flea in her Ear to contemporary works- The Elephant Man, Other Desert Cities, One Man, Two Guvnors, The Mercy Seat, Les Liaisons Dangerous and Circle Mirror Transformation. Carol has won regional accolades for acting, playwriting and direction. She is a member of SAG and the Dramatists Guild and is the Chair for the National Playwriting Program for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival-Region VIII.
