20 years experience in creative in film and TV production from the movie, cable networks, edutainment and marketing industries. Most recently Johnny edited and directed network reality TV shows Biography, Ingenious Minds, Sell This House and Hoarders for networks like A&E and Discovery. Inspired by his four year-old twins and the abundant research on early child development he co-founded Braincandy, the hip children's education/entertainment media company acting as Chief Creative Officer and Creative Director. After signing a deal with ThinkFilm then Warner Electra-Atlantic (Rhino Entertainment) to cover national and international distribution Johnny produced and directed all media products receiving 35 awards/endorsements including three Telly awards. His time at Microsoft found him editing, producing and directing 100s of Interactive TV, MSN, case study, game and Windows media projects. Having graduated with a degree in Communications and Film from University of Arizona, he moved to Los Angeles developing his dramatic storytelling chops as editor on nearly 30 feature films. Most of which aired on networks HBO, Cinemax, Showtime and USA channel and featured a wide variety of Hollywood actors from Robert Patrick (Terminator 2), Karen Black (Easy Rider, 5 Easy Pieces) to Erik Estrada (Chips) and the late Anna Nicole Smith (reality TV star) just to name a few. Prior to his creative trek on Hollywood Boulevard, Johnny raced on the fast track to becoming a concert pianist all while growing up on his father's dairy farm. Distracted by his love of cinema and well into college he changed directions to satisfy his passion of both visual and aural mediums.
