John has over 30 years' experience as a Writer, Executive Producer, Producer, Line Producer, Unit Production Manager (UPM/PM), Director, 2nd Unit Director, 1 st Assistant Director (1 st AD), Location Manager - Fixer (Canada, Cuba, Europe, Mexico, South East Asia & the USA) and Post-Production Supervisor of, to date, over 350 Commercials & over 75 movies, television movies, documentaries & specials that have garnered 9 Emmy nominations, 3 Emmy awards, 8 CableAce nominations and 4 CableAce awards with 20+ other international awards overall in my career so far. John has been an Industry & Educational Production Consultant for a number of educational institutions and over a half dozen Film and Television Companies in Asia, Canada, Mexico, the United States and Great Britain and has a solid background in tightly budgeted productions, with a wide experience in areas such as visual special effects (CGI, AR, VR & 360°), animation and live-action in CG Projects, commercials, documentaries, television, and long-form feature films. John has worked with a wide range of writers, executive producers, cinematographers, and other creative talent, as well as having established ongoing relationships with many of the various media outlets and distributors in Asia, Canada, the US, and foreign territories.
