Not much is known about this talented musical ensemble composed of five male instrumentalists and vocalists. It is probable they started out in their native Brazil using a different name and only changed it to Los Angeles del Infierno upon arriving in Mexico in the mid 1940s. The group backed up Cuban rumba dancer Ninón Sevilla in several films starting out with Pecadora (1947) and ending with Aventura en Río (1953). Reminiscing of Carmen Miranda's back up group Bando da Lua.
