Joey Dee

Joseph Dee was born and raised in New Rochelle, New York, a 10 minute bicycle ride from The Boogie Down Bronx, affectionately known as 'New Row'. He went to all boy Catholic schools grades 1 thru 12, then escaped to Georgetown University at 17. At 21 he graduated with a B.A. in Finance. He worked at Smith Barney Harris Upham from 1989 to 1992 as a retail stockbroker. In 92 he started pursuing acting in Manhattan, then in 93 moved to L.A. He did 1 film (The Force Within) and 1 play in N.Y. He solely pursued acting from 93 to 98, then starting writing as well. In 98 he wrote a novel. From 99 to present he wrote 4 two hour screenplays on his own and co-wrote a 5th (Beyond The Pale). He also wrote a short and a trailer based on one of his screenplays, his thriller. His biggest audition to date was for Oliver Stone for a part in the sequel to Wall Street (Money Never Sleeps) which was written out. He's lived in Venice Beach for 21 years and he ain't goin' no-where.
