Gino Dentie is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who grew up on the Lower East Side in a traditional Italian family. His love for music was first noticed at the age of 4 and he moved to Los Angeles at age 15 to pursue a singing career. By late 1970 Dentie and his band "The Family" recorded a hit album titled: "Gino Dentie Direct Disco" sold under the label: Crystal Clear Records. Dentie and his band toured the entire United States during the height of the disco era. Then decided to go solo where he worked alongside many of the most well known musicians of that era. Dentie landed his first acting job in a supporting role in the film "Hamburger" partly because he built and still owns The Guiness Book of World Record's "World's Longest Car" Since landing that role, Dentie got the "bug" so to speak and hence began a very prosperous career to date; working with such actors as: Christopher Walken, Michael Madsen, Jeff Conaway, Dennis Hopper, Rod Steiger, Chaz Palmenterri,Bobby Gallo, Michael Rosenbaum, Abe Vigoda, David Proval, Ricky Schroeder just to name a few. Most recently he is co-starring alongside Bad Santa actor Tony Cox in a new film titled "The Mail Man". Dentie also just finished the Rock-On road show at The Variety Theatre Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas, Nevada. Dentie continues to stay involved in many aspects of the film and music industry, writing a new animation show, recording a new album as he always dreamed of doing.
