Ketaki Dutta

Ketaki was the youngest child of Prabhadevi, well-known actress of the Bengali stage and the screen. She entered the stage at the young age of eight as a child artiste. Still a child, she was asked to play heroine opposite her own uncle, Murari Bhaduri, when the scheduled actress did not turn up in time for the show. Since then she has played heroine on the stage and has been seen in films occasionally mostly in roles that were better left out, notable exceptions being Patalghar (2003) and Kankal (1950).
