As a child actor (long retired) Jeremy Dimmick specialised in those juvenile characters Shakespeare killed off, and was murdered or died of natural causes repeatedly on stage and screen, including work for London's National Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company as well as the BBC TV Shakespeare project. He was taught by Bess Jones and Mollie Hudson at the Studio School of Speech and Drama in Pinner, Middlesex. He gave up acting aged 17 to concentrate on music and academia, and now researches and teaches medieval English literature.
