Ben Donovan is one of the co-founders of Maker Studios where he works to execute the company's overall strategy including development, production, distribution and sales. Ben studied history, political science and journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After graduating, he studied acting at the famed HB Studio in NYC and soon after began working as an actor on popular TV shows including "The West Wing," "Crossing Jordan," and "Felicity." Ben additionally served as a writer on several different TV and web projects. Ben then shifted his focus to the online space, teaming with his sister, Lisa Donovan, to help create the tremendously successful YouTube channel, LisaNova. He contributed his talents in acting, writing and producing to play an integral part in the channel's accomplishments and influence in the online content creating community. Building on the success of LisaNova, he partnered with Lisa, Danny Zappin and several other YouTube stars to combine their collective knowledge and experience with the platform to create Maker Studios.
