Jeffrey can be seen playing Elijah Hardin in the blockbuster "The Forever Purge" (Blumhouse & Universal Pictures) directed by Everardo Gout, and Preston Avery in the award winning feature film "A Thousand Miles Behind", streaming now, directed by Nathan Wetherington. After several years as a Blue Man with Blue Man Group in New York City, Jeffrey began bouncing back and forth between there and Los Angeles. During his tenure at Blue Man, he performed in many other theatrical productions in New York, and regionally, and wrote/directed three short films. He produced and appeared in the feature film "From The Head", written and directed by George Griffith, which David Lynch described as "beautifully written. Beautifully directed. Beautifully acted. Beautifully filmed." He is a native of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Reviews: A Thousand Miles Behind: "Doornbos gives a master class in acting." -ScreenComment I Hate The Man In My Basement: "Jeffrey Doornbos takes what could have easily been a one-note role and turns it into so much more as Riley, that almost stereotypical friend who tries really hard to be helpful but more often than note ends up doing the wrong thing. Doornbos, whose background includes a tenure as a Blue Man in Blue Man Group, is occasionally funny and frequently rather endearing but never a complete caricature." - The Independent Critic, Richard Propes
