I think what we're trying to do in theater is heal someone.” Of Belizean and Guatemalan descent, Colman Domingo is an actor and playwright born in Philadelphia, United States. Soon after, he reached the Broadway stage and soon began to receive recognition for his work, including a Tony for Best Supporting Actor. At the height of his success in theater, Spike Lee cast him in Miracle at St. Anna, which marked his transition to the big screen. Since then, he has landed prominent roles in both film and television, as well as becoming a fashion icon and an advocate for LGBT+ representation.
