Jean Doumanian, American television and film producer, was born in Chicago on July 28, c. 1934 as Jean Karabas to Greek immigrant parents. She had two older siblings, James and Elaine. She has been married once, to John Doumanian. The union was childless and ended in divorce. Doumanian produced/executive produced eight films written and directed by Woody Allen: Bullets Over Broadway (1994), Don't Drink the Water (1994), Mighty Aphrodite (1995), Everyone Says I Love You (1996), Deconstructing Harry (1997), Celebrity (1998), Sweet and Lowdown (1999), and Small Time Crooks (2000). She also produced Wild Man Blues (1997), a documentary on Woody Allen and the Eddy New Orleans Jazz Band, as well as such other films as The Spanish Prisoner (1997) and August: Osage County (2013).
